If surrealism depicts the irrationality behind a superficial order, then I attempt to depict the rationality behind a superficial chaos.

Progress through the composition tends towards the realisation of freedom.

ABOUT
Alexander Wallace Watson was born in London in 1999. His current practice is based in Delhi, and he has exhibited in New York City and London. He studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford, and Masters of Law at the University of London.
PROJECTION
The expansion of drawings and other images onto canvas reveals heightened contrast of detail and space. Overlaying multiple images can realise symbolic relationships between them.
